Our Team
Rev. Kurt Peer
Rev. Kurt serves as the senior pastor at SOLSC. He works closely with the weekly activities at the church: preaching, teaching, facilitating events etc. Rev. Kurt’s style of ministry is down-to earth and community oriented. Interfaith spirituality and classic Freudian theory are some of his interests. Out side of church, he works as a construction contractor in the local community.
Rev. June Peer
Rev. June Peer is pastor of rites and ceremonies at SOLSC. She shares her gifts with parishioners and the community alike to facilitate weddings, christening, end of life services etc. She also teaches, lectures, and helps guide the direction of the church. Her hope is for a multigenerational congregation with worship and development opportunities for everyone.
Dcn. James Ferguson
James Ferguson MDiv/MA serves as deacon at SOLSC. He supports the board of trustees, clergy and parishioners in numerous roles. Dcn. James teaches, lectures, mentors and helps with special events. Additionally, he is a pastoral counselor and healer. At home, James operates a rabbit rescue and nature restoration ministry.
